Terms & Conditions

Booking
Bookings will be charged at a 3 hour minimum, unless otherwise agreed. Bookings that over run the agreed times will be charged as follows; half hour for the first 15 minutes and a full hour thereafter. However I reserve the right to leave at the appointed time if not doing so we make me late for a subsequent appointment.

Additional Charges
Travel expenses either; petrol calculated at 45p/ mile or a second class rail ticket, this will be agreed before the booking is confirmed.
Car parking costs, where applicable.
Should a co-worker who has been scheduled to undertake the assignment alongside me not be able to attend than I may be willing to continue alone depending on the nature of the job and duration. A higher fee may be negotiated to compensate for working alone.

Invoices
These will be sent via email within 2 weeks of the assignment and are payable by cheque or BACS within 30 days of receipt.
If it is necessary to send a reminder a £40 surcharge may apply in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Interest Act 1998 as amended and supplemented to incorporate the features or European Directive 2003/35/EC. A reminder will be sent every further 30 day period until the account is cleared and interest will be added every subsequent time a reminder is sent.

Access to Work
If the booking is via Access to Work and payment is late due to delays in submitting invoices to AtW then the late payment charge will be charged to the client personally.

Cancellation Policy
Any assignment that is cancelled after the booking confirmation has been issued will be subject to a cancellation fee as follows. When less than 10 working days notice is given half of the fee will be charged. If less than 5 days is given then the fee will be charged in full.
Minor changes to your booking can often be accommodated. However, changes which would make me unavailable for another appointment are clearly unacceptable and would mean that the cancellation charges above would apply and a new booking created.
In the rare event of me having to cancel I will give as much notice as possible and no charge will be levied. If I am unable to give notice and cancel on the day I will give 100% discount off your next booking.

Agencies- I acknowledge the right for you to transfer me to another assignment, providing it does not hinder my ability to travel to/from a previous/subsequent assignment and get there on time. If the replacement booking is shorter than the original booking then the original fee will stand if the booking is longer in duration a new fee will be negotiated.

Complaints Procedure
Should any issues arise these should be raised by email within 7 days of the incident. I will reply within 7 days of receiving the email and will endeavor to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

COVID 19
I carry appropriate PPE and will conform to your individual Covid risk assessments.

If you have any specific precautions you wish me to follow due to Covid 19 please confirm these in writing.
